On The Eve Of A Change

A dull ache sits high on my stomach.
Late night's burgles makes me sick
in the mornings. They were so nicely
mine, grey start times, doing work finely.

That's a hope that can't last long,
and one I love, it's the siren song
of those better than myself (have I fallen
once again for that trap [that sin?]?)

And tomorrow is another chance
for me to trip another dance
of some stricter life, where
I am spent and strive to care.

But these tense turned-back caps
will droop to drag this bag to naps
up on that textile called a bed
so wet (from sweat) that dream is dead.

I sit on the eve of a change, her
song is as strong as ever, danger
in every hoping note. But tomorrow
is a day where a yes becomes a no.

I absolutely hate the new covers for The Dark Is Rising Sequence. Looks like the brain-child of ReBoot and an "Effects: All" button in Photoshop. Why? WHY?!

Bad 90s graphics. That's all I have to say. Bad 90s graphics.

Gweilo Art Show

Here are some of the pieces I made for Gweilo.


I made the purple banana and the green apple-choke behind and to the right of it.


I made the blue carrots and constructed the square grapevine, as well as the cigarette box to the far right.
